The Reach to Magnanimity

The Goal - Magnanimity

1,517 Words

The magnanimous person. ⬇️

Aristotle considers magnanimity to be the greatest virtue. It is concerned with high honors above and beyond what is possible for the average person. This is similar to the virtue magnificence (megaloprepeia) found in the preceding chapter (NE IV. 2), which is concerned with large - scale generosity.

Asked Ai to generate Leonardo Da Vinci Painting Magnaminity…

The 7 virtues that obtain the goal of magnaminity which you already know to be one of the greatest virtues. Follow these and achieve the result of more than what these virtues may be obvious to obtain. Selflessness incorperated always becomes selflessness reaped.

This is simply a summary of The 7 virtues - Read if you would like to.

Virtue 1- Trust

Without Trust Society as a whole falls apart, Society in of itself is built up by trust.

Trust is the first exchange of value in relationships.

Trust is the first board that builds the bridge.

Trust Will bring fruition to growth, Iron sharpens Iron.

He who does not trust enough will not be trusted

Lao Tzu

Virtue 2- Compassion

The laws of karma greatly favores trust as well as your subconscious mind.

You will find that the less harsh you are on others the less harsh your reality will be, If you treat your future well your future will treat you well.

The mistake is that compassion is heavily misunderstood to be something that you let people perform at a lower standard than you. No.

The people who you are with who you rely on must perform at the same or higher standard than which you perform at.

Compassion isn’t saying, “Im very sorry that happened why don’t you rest and take a week off?” Never.

If someone I relied on said that to me I would immediately find someone else to rely on. Why?

Because that person set their standard to to that level. The best compassion comes with accountability.

“Hey I’m sorry that has happened and I am with you in this, I don’t know what it excactly feels like to go through what you’re going through but you need to step your game up. Your loosing right now, don’t drown in your own sorrow. Use it.”

True compassion comes with accountability.

We need more real compassion in this world.

Their false compassion is called compassion and their false understanding is called understandin for this is their most potent spell.

Virtue 3- Courage

Courage is loyalties assistant. Loyalty is persistant through trial. Courage is resistant through fear.

Courage goes hand to hand with loyalty but yet they never combat fear nor trial.

Fear and Trial is not a worthy enemy of these things.

It is the origin of fear and trial, being selfishness.

It take selflessness to have courage and definetily loyalty.

You must also have trust when having courage in the face of terror.

All these virtue compound they support one another, they’re interconnected.

Courage and Loyalty is a hard thing to achieve therefore is is valued.

Nothing is valued that is without challenge.

Cowardice is the antagonist.

' Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Winston Churchille

Virtue 4- Justice

Justice Builds nations because it builds order.

All things justifiable by whom and by what.

This is why America Began its justice system based off of the bible and gods rule.

The founding fathers may have not found any law to live by which was better to what they saw. So they executed the laws in the bible.

Foundation is incredibly important, foundation is the origin.

Anything that falls down on top of the foundation is either a crack in the foundation or that fualtyness of material use to build off of that foundation.

Correct the material or correct the cornerstone.

Justice Under god.

Equity over equality in all contingents of people.

Justice is Truth in action.

Benjamin Disreali

Virtue 5- Wisdom

Wisdom is the application of knowledge.

You may have heard that the wise one learns from others mistakes and a foolish one learns from not even their own mistakes.

It is wise to apply knowledge.

Where does knowledge come from?

Experience nurtures and creates knowledge.

You amount of experiences can vary in a timeline stance.

Have you experienced more in the last year rather than 2 years ago?

Experience comes from change.

So Change brings wisdom.

Are you comfortable right now? Too comfortable for wisdom?

Change is uncomfortable and any discomfort relates to pain.

Emotionally or physically.

The pain of not knowing. The pain of cuts and bruises.

Pain achieves wisdom.

Though I would more so say that the change of pain is what truly creates wisdom.

When you’re in pain you will only understand it best after it’s over.

Multiple outlooks, The inside and outside perspective.

Once it’s over you have your next challenge soon you will find another challenge and a little bit later a new one, it is meant to be endless.

Running away from discomfort and pain will only lead to more of it.

Seek [Wisdom].

And reap what is wise.

Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom

Aristotle

Virtue 6- Temperance

Temperance is hard achieved, why?

Anger of course.

Though anger is a causation for rash and hurtful words or action it shouldn’t be demonized by itself.

It is rather the persons habitation of anger.

A habit in ones mind is like a creased fold on a paper, you can’t fully undo it.

The habitation of anger is hard because the culprit is impatience.

Impatience in of itself brings rash action and selfish action, take away impatience then the whole world will be solved of its problems in a few years or decades.

But no one wants to wait that long, see..

Impatience.

Benjamin franklins list of 13 virtues had temperance within it.

Think of it, if two generals fought; one was patient another was impatient would that change their strategy and tactics?

Would the more patient one win?

Of course, the idea of temperance is simply thinking in the long term of the short term.

Why do I say that?

There is a difference between a battle and a war.

Wars can be won without any conflict. Battles, not so much. Yet wars last longer than battles.

When people are in an argument you will find that those who are speaking most in the beginning are the least patient person.

Therefore finishing last is what brings you to win.

Truthfully you must avoid arguing, it is a common practice of and for the illogical.

Fools argue and wise men reason.

Every day you are proving to yourself which one of these people you are.

Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.

-Jean Jacques Rousseau-

Virtue 7- Hope

To hope is to achieve the vision.

To make hope effective is to use the vision that was achieved.

Some may say that the vision is given by a higher power with absolute uncertainty.

I don’t disagree nor disprove that claim.

Though the subconscious mind is unnoticeable and therefore looked over.

We hardly see reality, it is challenging to even know what.

Like what is happening to the forces of society, what is happening when I act this way, eat this, and say that.

Then after answering the ‘What’ question people jump to the why of things.

Why did s/he do that?

Why did I choose this path?

Why did Rome fall?

Why did WW1 & WW2 happen?

Truthfully none of that matters, knowing the ‘why’ is an extra step of understanding and wisdom to take.

Knowing why is the last thing you need to know, never ask yourself why.

Rather ask the how Of things.

How did he end up saying that?

How did wars happen?

How did I end up in this situation?

Asking the 'how' is seeking a Logical answer, and asking the 'why' is seeking the emotional answer.

Logic before emotions, Logic then emotions.

This will help you keep intact with reality even when you are around those who are in a state of delusion.

Ask How over why after what.

This correlates with hope because hope correlates with how much you know, understand, and your level of wisdom.

Then hope's second layer is defined by the outside forces of this world.

Do not let the outside forces of the world be stronger and of a higher impact than your being.

When that happens you will only see hopeless eye’s when looking upon someone.

Having hope is being stronger.

There was never a night or a problem that could defeat sunrise or hope.

Bernard Williams

Edit: Being Virtuous brings wealth. Wealth brings a level of power, power is neither good nor bad.

Power is only defined by the beholders intention.

The intention defines wether power is a virtue or vice.

The only way to build up true wealth is through good deeds, no matter the misrepresentation.

Magnanimity is the use of power with the intention of virtue.

What is the virtuous intention?
