The standards set by others affect the standards set by yourself.

The Dark Side

No its not Star Wars,

You already missed out on that.

Rather it is the forces that lie within.

Nope, not the Jedi force either.

It is a force that is only discovered through self-reflection.

Introspection.

The Investigation of oneself.

All of this meets up to a certain preparation.

Readiness for the human spirit is to have self control.

Self control is highly beneficial, for we are tested every day and will continue being tested.

Ask Yourself, ‘how can I benefit from understanding my dark-side?’

It is the side that has evil desires and contains many repulsive qualities in which was ingrained within yourself sense childhood.

The question is, How can we channel it?

Usually repelling evil is only fueling it.

As is evil the opposite of good (The Truth is good).

When you repel the truth it doesn’t get stronger.

So why would you expect the same results from repelling evil, especially when its within you and when truth is the opposite of evil?

Channeling the dark side isn’t as simple as recognizing it, but better so using it.

If you recognize a wild bull running after you, that recognition will not benefit you until you act upon it.

Half-Way Point

So Action and Recognition.

Including what I have mentioned earlier, that being Introspection.

Introspection achieves knowing oneself.

Once Introspection is achieved you will better know the situation and when you may be filled with a narcissistic attitude, even if it’s very shy.

You will also know what these feeling of rage may have in you that are brought up.

Understand this, all of your feeling are intentional, you have control over your intentions.

So do not let the dark side be Intending to do harm, but rather good.

Lest Impending doom you want to achieve.

In all understanding you must have a work, anything; A virtuous pursuit.

A work which you can master. For me it is myself, writing/orating, and people skills. (Sales Included)

Once a work is mastered it become an art.

There is a difference between the two sayings, ‘A Piece of work’ and ‘A Piece of Art!’.

Without having the ability to nurture ourselves human nature begins to unravel and crumble.

Letting the dark-side take over.

Do what you do, but do it in the pursuit of mastery.

Do it to become virtuous.

Once Virtue achieved Magnanimity is the goal.

Because the pursuit of mastery eventually benefits those around you.

Which in turn benefits you MORE.

A beneficial acceleration.
